Preschool Pre-Literacy Class
Reading-Ready is a series of pre-literacy classes uniquely designed for preschool children ages 3 to 5 years old.
Little learners build essential pre-reading skills called phonological awareness by exploring and playing with the words, syllables, and individual sounds we hear and speak in everyday language.
Featured weekly in Reading-Ready is a children's storybook, which showcases each new skill while captivating imaginations and developing eager young readers.
Other aspects of speaking and reading that students learn in Reading-Ready include comprehension, phonemic awareness, speech production, print concepts, vocabulary development, and even phonics decoding of basic words (during our final Winter and Spring sessions)!
